Dual Degree Program with Montessori Teacher Certification
The dual master degree program offers students who wish to obtain M.S. in Infant and Child Care, and M. Ed in Early Childhood Education with Montessori teacher certification. The M.S. degree is offered by National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS) and M.Ed. degree is offered by United States of America. This program is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree. Students take courses leading to Montessori Teacher certification while simultaneously working on two master degrees. Upon completion of the Montessori courses, they will need 33 credits to complete the master’s program. The program plan contains concentration in Montessori methods and supportive coursework in other fields, research, and evaluation of young children.

Eligibility for Admission

1. Have a bachelor’s degree from universities and colleges approved by the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan).

2. The equivalent of a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required for admission.
You also need to have your bachelor certificate and transcript evaluate by ECE institute, go to the following Web-site and complete the procedures.

3. Applicants whose native language is not English MUST meet one of the following English proficiency requirements: a TOFEL score of at least 79 (IBT), or an IELTS score of at least 6.5, or a PTE score of at least 53.
